Entities and Groups are terms used in the Webroot Management console.

When a Site is created, the system automatically creates a group called the Default Group. Devices and IPs (or entities) are assigned to the Default Group as they check-in. Admins can create new groups in the Webroot Management console under Entities tab > Sites & Groups list to organize entities as needed. Once a group has been created, it is a simple process to move devices and IPs.

Tip: To be able to modify the Sites & Groups list, the admin user must be setup in the Webroot Management console with the Account Type Super Admin.
