This solution addresses Webroot SecureAnywhere

If System Analyzer reports you have a large amount of temporary files or cookies, you can remove these by running System Optimizer within the Webroot program.

As you work on your computer and browse the Internet, traces of your activity remain on your computer. These traces may be in the form of temporary files placed on your hard drive, lists of recently used files in programs, lists of recently visited Websites, etc. Anyone who has access to your computer can view what you have done and where you have been. Using the System Optimizer, you can protect your privacy by removing all traces of your activity, including the Internet history, address bar history, Internet temporary files (cache), and cookie files.

The System Optimizer can also delete unnecessary files to help improve computer performance. Windows stores many files on your computer without you being aware of them. Most files are useful, and even required, for your computer to operate properly. However, other files are not necessary and consume valuable space on your hard drive. Even with today's large hard drives, these unnecessary files can impair your computer's performance.
