ePSA Error Code 2000-8611 Error message: Audio - User reported not hearing speaker tones For desktops and servers: Verify that the internal speaker(s) are connected properly. On some systems, internal speakers are a purchase option. For a given system, if the speaker is optional, it might not exist on that system. Update to the latest BIOS, for more information refer to Dell Knowledge Base article How to Download and Install a Driver. If a speaker is installed, power down computer and check connections between the speakers and the System Board. Please see the Service manual for instructions on how to open and check the connections. Be sure to unplug anything plugged into an external headphone jack (external Headphone jacks can mute the internal speakers at the hardware level). Re-run the diagnostics, if you receive the same error code Contact Us.
