Error message: Hard Drive - No Hard Drive detected.


HDDs are not required on all systems so this message is usually a warning.

For desktops and servers: Update to the latest BIOS, for more information refer to Dell Knowledge Base article How to Download and Install a Driver. If a hard disk is installed, power down computer and check connections between the hard drive(s) and the System Board. Please see the Service manual for instructions on how to open and check the connections. Re-run the diagnostics, if you receive the same error code Contact Us. If no error occurs then it was a cable or connector issue.

For all computers: Update to the latest BIOS, for more information refer to Dell Knowledge Base article How to Download and Install a Driver. Re-run the diagnostics.
