ePSA Error Code 2000-0131

Error message: Battery - The battery is not installed.

Power off the computer, remove and reinstall the battery, but check for debris or damaged contacts. Please see the Service manual for instructions on how to remove and replace the battery. After reinstalling the battery re-run the diagnostics if you receive the same error code please note, batteries have a one year warranty. If your computer is over a year old a replacement can be purchased from Dell Accessories.

  Remove any and all power sources Including but not limited to: AC Adapter, Battery, or Desktop Power Cord, before you remove or reinstall an item in your computer.
