Several apps are available for Android and Apple mobile devices. An app is also available for Windows 8 and Windows Surface RT. Please choose from the list below for installation instructions.

SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus or Best Buy

Installation Instructions ▼

Download the appropriate Webroot app(s), and then enter your subscription information to activate your paid protection. Follow the instructions below for your device.

Android/Kindle Download Instructions

To download SecureAnywhere Mobile:
  1. If you have not yet created a Webroot account, go to my.webrootanywhere.com. Click Sign up now and complete your registration.
  2. Once you have created your account, log in to it and make sure to click Set Up Now under Passwords and Backups if the buttons are there.
  3. Search for Webroot according to your device:
    1. On Android, from your mobile device, go to the Google Play Store and search for "Webroot Antivirus." This will be free. (Do NOT install the Complete app. This is not the correct app for your subscription.)

      Alternately, you can find the app at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webroot.security&feature=more_from_developer
    2. On Kindle, from the Home screen, tap Apps, then tap Store. Tap the search box. Enter "Webroot Antivirus" and tap Search.
  4. Download and install the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile app.
  5. After completing the download, open the app.
  6. At the license agreement, tap Accept.

    If prompted to create your account, tap I already have an account.
  7. Enter your account credentials and tap Login to account. This is the same login that you use to access your Webroot account at my.webrootanywhere.com.
  8. After finishing the setup process, tap the Android Menu button from the main screen of the Webroot app.

    On devices without a Menu button, the menu can be accessed through the Action bar, which will look like three vertical dots, most commonly on the bottom right of the screen.
  9. Tap Register.
  10. Check that the keycode listed is your Webroot Internet Security Plus keycode. If it is not, tap Activate and enter the correct keycode, then tap OK.

To download the SecureWeb app:
  1. From your mobile device, go to the Google Play Store and search for "Webroot SecureWeb." This app will be Free.

    Alternately, you can find the app at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webroot.secureweb
  2. Download and install the SecureWeb app.
  3. To access Password Management functions, tap the key icon in the SecureWeb toolbar. Enter your SecureAnywhere user name and password. This is the same login that you use to access your Webroot account at my.webrootanywhere.com. If you have not yet created a Webroot account, go to my.webrootanywhere.com. Click Sign up now and complete your registration. Once the registration is complete and you are logged into your account, be sure to click "Set Up Account Now" under Passwords and Backups if you have this option.

    When SecureWeb validates your Webroot credentials, a green checkmark appears above the key icon.

iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch Download Instructions

To download the SecureWeb app:
  1. If you have not yet created a Webroot account, go to my.webrootanywhere.com. Click Sign up now and complete your registration.
  2. Once you have created your account, log in to it and make sure to click Set Up Now under Passwords and Backups if the buttons are there.
  3. Open the App Store on your device and search for “Webroot SecureWeb.” Tap to install the app.

  4. Enter your Apple ID password.

    The SecureWeb app opens and installs on your device. Once installed, you will see the Webroot SecureWeb icon on your Home panel. Tap this icon to open the app.

This is the same login that you use to access your Webroot account at my.webrootanywhere.com. If you have not yet created a Webroot account, go to my.webrootanywhere.com. Click Sign up now and complete your registration. Once the registration is complete and you are logged into your account, be sure to click "Set Up Account Now" under Passwords and Backups if you have this option.

SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete

Mobile Complete includes such features as secure browsing, access to synchronized files, and access to your passwords and form-fill profiles. You can install apps for Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete on Android, Apple, and Windows 8. Follow the instructions below for your device.

Android/Kindle Download Instructions
  1. If you have not yet created a Webroot account, go to my.webrootanywhere.com. Click Sign up now and complete your registration.
  2. Once you have created your account, log in to it and make sure to click Set Up Now under Passwords and Backups if the buttons are there.
  3. Search for Webroot according to your device:
    1. On Android, from your mobile device, go to the Google Play Store and search for "Webroot Complete."

      Alternately, you can find the app at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webroot.security.complete
    2. On Kindle, from the Home screen, tap Apps, then tap Store. Tap the search box. Enter "Webroot Complete" and tap Search.
  4. Download and install the SecureAnywhere Complete app.
  5. After it downloads, tap the Open button.
  6. At the license agreement, tap Accept.
  7. In the Sign-in panel, enter the following information:
    • Your SecureAnywhere email address and password. This is the same login that you use to access your Webroot account at my.webrootanywhere.com.
    • Keycode for SecureAnywhere Complete. Your keycode is listed in an email message (if you ordered the product online) or is listed on the instructions inside the retail box. If you no longer have the email or the instructions, you can find the keycode in the My Account panel of the desktop software. (Open the main interface and click My Account.)

  8. After entering your Webroot credentials and keycode, tap Login to Account at the bottom of the Sign-in panel.

    SecureAnywhere opens on your device. You will notice three new icons for each Webroot app on your Android Home panel:
    • SecureAnywhere. Provides advanced antivirus, Internet security, and identity protection. You can use this app to find your device if it’s lost or stolen, secure your purchases online, and protect your personal information with features like App Inspector, remote data wipe, call blocking, network monitor, and SIM card removal lock.     • Backup & Sync. Allows you to store and access your digital life from anywhere you’re connected. You can use this app to access important files, show off pictures of your family, and save your music library to the cloud. For more information, see Webroot Backup & Sync for Android Help.
    • SecureWeb. Keeps your device safe as you surf the web. This app also provides access to your secure login credentials and to your form-fill profiles stored in the Password Manager. For more information, see Webroot SecureWeb for Android Help.
iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch Download Instructions

For an Apple mobile device, follow the instructions below to receive integrated Backup & Sync functionality with the Backup & Sync app and integrated Secure Web Browsing/Password Management functionality with the SecureWeb app. You must install the apps separately.

To download the SecureWeb app:
  1. If you have not yet created a Webroot account, go to my.webrootanywhere.com. Click Sign up now and complete your registration.
  2. Once you have created your account, log in to it and make sure to click Set Up Now under Passwords and Backups if the buttons are there.
  3. Open the App Store on your device and search for “Webroot SecureWeb.” Tap to install the app.

    The Backup & Sync app opens and installs on your device. Once installed, you will see the Webroot Backup & Sync icon on your Home panel. Tap this icon to open the app.

Windows 8 and Windows Surface RT instructions: As part of your SecureAnywhere Complete edition license, you can download the Backup & Sync app to a Windows 8 or Windows RT tablet.

Important: Before you begin, you must install SecureAnywhere Complete on a computer, configure the Backup and Sync component, and create a Webroot account. For detailed instructions, see the Webroot SecureAnywhere User Guide for PCs, available here.

To download the Backup & Sync app:
  1. From the Windows Start screen, select the Store tile.
  2. From the Store, go to the Productivity category.
  3. Locate the Webroot Backup and Sync app.
  4. Select Install. The app installs in a few moments.
  5. When you see the Backup & Sync tile appear, select the tile to open the app.
  6. At the first screen, enter your Webroot account login credentials and your keycode. The Backup & Sync app will synchronize with your Webroot account in the cloud. The folders will appear as tiles.

SecureAnywhere AntiVirus

Webroot SecureAnywhere AntiVirus does not come with mobile protection as part of its subscription. If you would like an upgrade your subscription to include paid mobile protection, you can contact Sales at 1-866-612-4268. (For international contact information, click here and choose your country.)

SecureAnywhere Mobile Premier for Android

If you have not purchased the Premier app, you can buy it in the app store. If you have already paid for the Premier app and you need to reinstall it, you can install the free app, then enter your registration details to activate the paid features.

To purchase and install Mobile Premier:
  1. Search for Webroot according to your device:
    1. On Android, from your mobile device, go to the Google Play Store and search for "Webroot Premier."

      Alternately, you can find the Premier app from here.
    2. On Kindle, from the Home screen, tap Apps, then tap Store. Tap the search box. Enter "Webroot Premier" and tap Search.
  2. After completing the download, open the app.
  3. At the license agreement, tap Accept.

    If prompted to create your account, do so now. The password is case sensitive.
To reinstall Mobile Premier, if you have already purchased it:
  1. Search for Webroot according to your device:
    1. On Android, from your mobile device, go to the Google Play Store and search for "Webroot Antivirus" for the FREE app.

      Alternately, you can find the free app here.
    2. On Kindle, from the Home screen, tap Apps, then tap Store. Tap the search box. Enter "Webroot Antivirus" and tap Search.
  2. After completing the download, open the app.
  3. At the license agreement, tap Accept.

    If prompted to create your account, do so now. The password is case sensitive.
  4. From the main SecureAnywhere Mobile panel, press your mobile device's Menu button. On devices without a Menu button, the menu can be accessed through the Action bar, which will look like three vertical dots, most commonly on the bottom right of the screen.
  5. In the Settings panel, tap Register.
  6. Tap Activate.
  7. Enter your product key, then tap Activate.

SecureAnywhere Mobile for Android (free)
